Originally a graphic designer and typographer, I have been a textile artist, print-maker and college lecturer amongst other things but only started painting about six years ago.
I work in different mediums, mostly acrylic but sometimes in mixed media or watercolour. The image above is of a painting in collage and mixed media completed recently. It took forever to complete but I think I might continue with this method as I have had many positive comments. It is one of the paintings I will be exhibiting at Braywick Heath Nurseries as part of The Cookham and Maidenhead Arts Trail (CAMAT) on September 14th and 15th.. If you visit three or more of the shows on the trail you will be entered into the draw to win a cash prize to be spent on the trail. Further details can be seen on the CAMAT website https://www.camat.org.uk

I took up print-making in its various forms (etching, lithography, silkscreen) at South Hill Park, Bracknell and had acceptances by the Royal Academy and the Mall Galleries in London.
Having been a Book Jacket/Graphic Designer, Printmaker and student of Textiles, I started painting five years ago, mostly in acrylics, under the tuition of Gary Spencer.
I now mostly paint and I occasionally exhibit locally. Last year, I had a painting excepted by the Society of Women Artists whose exhibitions are normally held at the Mall Galleries in London.I am happy to undertake commissions.
